- what is it?

  • Washroom graffiti is a specific type of graffiti which are drawings, scrawls, and words written on the walls of public and private washroom stalls. This type of graffiti is not only a form of artistic expression, but it is also an interesting way for people to communicate. In addition, the washroom stall is an unique medium for free speech because of its environment.

  • This type of communication is inviting and is available to anyone who has access to a bathroom stall and an instrument that allows pictures, words of symbols to be drawn, created, or scratched onto the wall. There is no limitation to this type of communication!
